Hi, Welcome to my A92HB web pages, please feel free to leave a message in my guestbook if you wish.
After a long wait, I finally received my A92 licence, living in this house in Manama makes it pretty difficult to erect a mast, so I have constructed my own version to enable me to get my Cushcraft beam up in the air.
I am busy fixing anchors in the surrounding parts of our house, once these are in place, I hope to raise the antenna level by another 2 mtrs, the antenna is quite happy where it is at the moment, but we are due to get the strong winds which arrive in the mid winter months, hence the guying of the "mast".
Station so far:- Icom 706Mk2G, Heil Mic, Rigblaster Pro, Cushcraft 2010 Log Periodic, Prositel Rotator.
Hope to bring back my 756PRO3 or 7400 from next home visit, more Heil mics, spare power supply, and either an Acom or Expert linear amplifier, I have a 2000A at home, too heavy to transport economically.
Also have a Kenwood 950SDX with 230 scope and MC90 mic, also problematic for transportation.
Spare time is at a premium, so I am afraid that on the air time will not extend to long periods either.
Story to be continued when time permits
The above qsl cards are now available, so should  you require a card, please be good enough supply   return postage / new IRC / or whatever, it has cost me more than £8000 to set this station up, so be fair.
